While sports specific training is geared toward our athletes and weekend warriors, it can also be a successful program for individuals whose occupations require them to be athletes in their own right; think of those in a warehouse lifting boxes, fishermen working on a boat, or any field-work based tradesman.

At True Potential Physical Therapy, exercises are chosen for each individual to focus in on the “sports movement” that will allow them to access a peak level of performance. Training programs developed in this area can be used for both working through rehabilitation and expanding on current performance levels.

The key ideas here is to help the body unlearn poor form (especially in repetitive movements), the kind that creates inefficient body mechanics and often leads to injury. Our Physical Therapists will gear each individual’s program of exercises to help them reach their own true potential – we’re so passionate about this approach to helping our patient’s achieve optimal physical well-being, it’s in our name.
